Advanced Summer Training
Program at Play Ball Salisbury

Ages: 13-18

Format: Two week sessions $200 per player.........2 hours each day.

Goal: Utilize general mechanics, advanced mechanics, strength and conditioning, and mental aspects of the game to develop the player's overall performance.

Advanced Summer Training

Curriculum: The Camp will be run by Matt Keefe & Curran Shane, the goal is to get players from all positions and do both position specific and general drills. The Strength and conditioning portion will involve all positions working together. Each week will start with our general mechanic drills to build the players from the ground up. We will also start our strength and conditioning with basic exercises to enforce good form. As the session moves on we will work in the advanced mechanics and build up our strength and conditioning. As the players move forward and understand the advanced mechanics we will implement the mental aspects of the game to re-enforce their abilities.

Overview of the Day:
0-15- Warmup
15-30- Long toss
30-60- Mechanical work (Defensive)
60-90- Mechanical work (Offensive)
90-120- Strength & Conditioning

Sessions 1:
July 10-14th and July 17th-21st
(10 total sessions)

Sessions 2:
July 24-28th and July 31st-August 4th

Playball's Salisbury Summer Camps

Play Ball’s Summer Baseball Camp will cover the basic fundamentals of throwing, fielding, hitting and positional play. Players will be grouped by age and will participate in drills to train and reinforce good habits. Players will also play in game situations and will have fun in our daily skills contests. The professional staff at Play Ball will run these fun filled camps.
